Here is a closeup of one of the sandpiper birds on the beach. I have worked on this bird, adding more of the detail in the feathers and his legs. And don’t forget the shadow, it now looks like the sun is shining.
I am trying to keep some of the crackle finish from the table to show through in the painting. It is gradually fading into the painting.
