Here is the rough sketch for a acrylic painting of a sand dune path to the water where there will be a couple great egrets. This rough sketch is quickly done in paynes grey paint and gives me the layout with basic values for this seascape painting. I will proceed to the actual colors from this initial step in the acrylic painting.
