“Orchids” is an original oil painting on a 12″ square gallery wrap canvas. I decided on a view of the glass vase with these orchids from above. Looking down on the subject I was able to show the lace and the wood grain along with the shadows. On a gallery wrap canvas the painting wraps around the edge of the canvas 1.5 inches on all sides.
