This latest oil painting is a red barn snow scene landscape. The barn is from Newton’s Farm in Northford, Connecticut and a fresh snow is covering the fields and fences. The painting is 16″ x 20″ on canvas and a red mahogany frame is included when purchasing this original oil.
Snow covered wood fence posts lead you into the scene towards the sun struck red barns. I have spent a lot of time walking and exploring the land when this was a working dairy farm. Today the only animals living there are 2 donkeys. I have done many paintings at this farm including the painting “Farm Cats” from the farmhouse adjacent to the barns.
