The sandpiper birds oil painting on canvas is almost finished. Below you can see the different stages of completion in this original painting.
When you look at the painting below you can see the different colors and shapes in the water area. Above I have glazed over this water area and achieved a smoother look. I’m happy with the texture in this painting, it may be hard to see in these photos but there is nice texture on the sand and the shorebirds in this oil painting. I will be making the final brushstrokes on this beach painting of the sandpiper birds oil painting in the next few days.
