New original oil painting of colorful beach umbrellas with sunbathers on land and in the ocean. Long horizontal format for this ocean scene. I have quite a bit of texture in the beach sand, water and sky. The ocean is an aqua, teal color along with an area in the sky. The beach umbrellas are full of color, from blue, red, orange, green and pink.
Inspiration
I loved how the beach umbrellas were clustered together on the sand creating one large area of shade. The beach view looks towards the turquoise ocean that darkens as it reaches the horizon. Looking through the sunbathers and umbrellas to the water and swimmers.
